Based on ADWRO's monthly action plan, on January 25-27, 2015 ADWRO conducted Gender Policy Developing Training for targeted CSOs for 3 days and ADWRO conducted this training based on CSOs needs.  18 people participated to this training on behalf of CSOs; which were including 11 women and 7 men. 

The main goal of this training was to enhance the knowledge of participants during first day of training about these main issues such as; gender definition, gender mainstreaming, gender equality, gender engagement and process of policy developing and definition of policy. During second and third days of training, all of participants and trainers worked practically on policy-developing process; and finally we developed the first draft of gender policy for all of CSOs as template of gender policy.    USAID's representative of Mazar Office (Najeeb Niazi) participated one full day to this training and monitored this training. He also discussed with CSOs regarding their problems. The impact of this training is a developed gender policy based on their needs, so this policy will help CSOs in order to sustain gender mainstreaming in all level and parts of their organizations. After this, developed gender policy will used within all of CSOs.
