Whilst Civil Society refers to “the sphere of institutions, organizations, and individual located between the family, the state, and the market in which people associate voluntarily to advance common interests”; whilst the civil society is a significant pillar of a democratic society; and whilst Afghanistan Civil Society need the strong support being vital part between State and Communities. Hence, there is need to build Afghan Civil Society capacities through mechanisms in which their capabilities and sustainability is ensured.
With those aforesaid in mind, ADWRO’s Civil Society Strengthening program offers capacity building interventions, not only training but providing assistance in areas of expertise to ensure Civil Society Organizations’ (CSOs) capacities built; and common interests are well considered, justified and strategized in government’s policies.
The target beneficiaries under CSS program are Civil Society Organizations including Unions, Community Based Shuras, NGOs, Associations, Community Development Councils (CDCs), and Individual Civil Society Activists.
ADWRO in line with its strategic aim offers following services in its geographic areas to CSOs under capacity building services
ADWRO conducts Managerial, Fundraising, Financial, Community Needs Appraisal, Advocacy, Strategic Planning, and Leadership connected trainings.
