Public outreach is one of the key components of ADWRO which is looking to legally enhance/ inform people about women rights, human rights, civil society concept, role of women on election and women empowerment; generally this part/ component focuses on below specific methodology in order to enhance people.
v Providing legal awareness/ public outreach program through media outlets via independent Radio and TV covering north part of the country
v Holding face to face community dialogues sessions within the community in order to involve public people on civil society activities and highlight and solve the serious challenge/ social problems
v To enhance educated people thorough organization website and social media such as face book…
v To inform people about organization activities/ achievements through publishing newsletter, brochure and posters.
v To update donors about impact of services through publishing/ creating success stories or impact reports/ annual reports
v To enhance public people about legal rights through preachers/ Mullas speech via special region gathering ( NAMAZ JOMA)
ADWRO provided specific program in this regard and increased the awareness of public people through media initiatives, face to face community dialogue sessions and preachers gathering.
In order to make women self-sufficient and educated in playing a vital role to help their families generate more income, ADWRO provided education and income generation for women and girls (at both rural and urban areas where ADWRO focus in the north. Literacy classes for 600 women 14 Districts of Balkh and for young girls in Nahr-i-Shahi district of Balkh including tailoring project in rural areas of the same province, leading Civic Education Program in five northern provinces to cover more than 300,000 people in 600 villages between January 2009-December 2010, engaged more than 4000 public people both male and female on civic engagement process within Balkh and Smangan provinces and building four community based schools for girls under 18 years old are the main activities carried out under Social Services Program throughout the establishment.
